Mrs. Adel Dinkins Burton WainwrightMrs. Adel Dinkins Burton Wainwright age 86 of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 in Baker County following a long illness. Mrs. Wainwright was born in Lawtey on February 3, 1922 to Paul and Mary Loadholtz Dinkins. She retired from the Jacksonville Navel Air Station as a Clerk, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Lawtey. She was preceded in death by her husbands James Burton, Sr. and Frank Doc Wainwright. Survivors are: Step-daughter: Sharon Stone (Fred) of Jacksonville; step-son: Jimmy Burton, Jr. of Jacksonville; Nephews: Freddie Dinkins of Lakeland; David Dinkins of Lawtey; Caregiver: Joanie Cole; grandchildren: Felicia Morgan; Russell Stone; Amy Sanchez; Carol Garard; Christy Cosgrove; several great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Wainwright will be on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM in Grace United Methodist Church in Lawtey with Reverend Don Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Kingsley Lake Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the funeral services.
