Alan P. ShephardGainesville, FL - Alan P. Shephard, age 86, has been called to be with the Lord on August 25, 2018 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center. Alan was born on July 25, 1932 in Syracuse, New York.He was the beloved husband of his late wife Nancy M. Shephard and loving father of three children, Linda Shephard, Jim & Cheryl Shephard, and Steve & Janice Shephard. He was a cherished grandfather of Tracy & Brian Harper, Jessica & Jesse Chapple, and Michael & Jen Shephard and great gandfahter of Emily Harper, Tori Harper, Jacob Chapple, and Benjamin Chapple.Memorial services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in The Chapel onWednesday September 12, 2018 at 11:30AM.Services will be officiated by Rev. Cliff Patrick.
