Albert F. Cribbett

Albert F. Cribbett, 89, went home to be with his Lord & Savior on, May 9, 2018. Service and burial in crypt will be held this Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel in the Meadows at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 30th Ave, Gainesville, FL, 32606. The service will be officiated by his son, Glenn Cribbett. Albert was a lifetime Gator, who earned his Bachelor's in Animal Science and Master's in Food and Resource Economics, from the University of Florida's College of Agriculture. He served as UF's Associate Vice President of Agricultural Affairs until he retired in 1992. Albert also served in the US Airforce during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Norma Cribbett & their 3 children, Dr. Larry Cribbett, Jacksonville, FL, Glenn Cribbett, Ft Myers, FL and Lana Biondi, Orlando, FL, 6 grandchildren, Samantha Cribbett Balotin, Lori Cribbett Loftis, Kari Cribbett Whitney, Stephanie Biondi, Matthew Biondi, Joshua Cribbett and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by granddaughter Jamie Cribbett and his parents, Robert & Thelma Cribbett. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home, Gainesville, FL.
