ALCEE PETER RODRIGUE, JR.Alcee Peter Rodrigue Jr., age 81 of Keystone Heights, FL had a long and full life. He passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his home. He was born March 17, 1929 in Chackbay, Louisiana and was proud to be a Cajun. He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years. In 1969, after retiring from the Air Force he moved to Starke, FL and was the founding Hospital Administrator of Lake Butler Reception and Medical Center for 12 years. He was also an administrator for Dialysis Centers in Lake City, Gainesville and Ocala.Since his retirement in 1998, he enjoyed gardening, being active in the American Legion Post 56 of Starke, FL, and being an active part of his family and grandchildrens lives. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Germaine Rita Ouellette Rodrigue, Sons Kerry of Vero Beach and Kenny of Ocala, Daughters Roxie of Loveland, CO, Danette of Keystone Heights, and Suzette of Keystone Heights. 14 Grandchildren - Teresa, Nic, Matthew, Adam, Justin, Bryan, Joel, Nicole, Marc, Garrett, Wyatt, Brent, Colby, Alyssa and 1 Great Grandchild Madisyn.He is also survived by 4 brothers Gaston, Kerman, and Freddie Rodrigue, and Whitney Trosclair of Chackbay, Louisiana, and 1 sister Dolly Perque of Chackbay Louisiana.He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and friends. We love you Dad!!Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 9:00am with a Memorial Mass following at 10:00am at St. William Catholic Church, 275 SW Satsuma Street, Keystone Heights, Florida 352-473-4223 with Father Mike Williams officiating. A reception will follow in the Church hall immediately after the Mass.
