Cruz was a proud graduate of Bloomingdale High School, Class of 2022, where he
immersed himself in wrestling—a sport that truly reflected his unwavering

with conviction. Cruz was celebrated for his loyalty and profound love for those close in
his life. He had a unique ability to share his big heart with everyone, often bringing
laughter with his playful sense of humor and a smile that lit up a room. He deeply
cherished his beloved cat, Nato, affectionately nicknamed Gato, who brought him
immense comfort and joy.
Cruz was raised in a devout Catholic family and chose Saint Michael the Archangel as
his patron Saint during his first holy communion, a testament to his deep faith and trust
in his Savior. He is survived by his loving family, including his parents, Angela
Provencio of St. Augustine and Hector Espinoza of Spring Hill, along with his siblings:
Trey, Talise, and Antonio. Cruz was also dearly cherished by his maternal aunts and
uncles—Melissa (Scott), Ray (Ruth), and Tim (Deirdra)—as well as his paternal
uncles-Steve, Andrew, and his grandmother Lydia (Joseph). He will be profoundly
missed by numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends who held him
dear.
