Alice Lee Bomanglag

BOMANGLAG, Alice Lee (Bartz) 85, of Orange Park FL, died March 17, 2018, after a brief illness. She was born March 12,1933, in St. Louis MO, to Alfred and Mildred Bartz. Alice will be remembered by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Juan Blasco Bomanglag. She is survived by her sister, June Hacker and brother Richard Bartz, St Louis, Mo. and preceded in death by her sisters, Jackie McArthy, Jean Milner, and brothers, Robert (King) Bartz, Alfred (Sonny) Bartz and son-in-law Jerry Kirk. She leaves her three children, Kathleen Kirk, Michael Schuh (Mary Jo) and Thomas Richard Schuh (Lana); six grandchildren Robin (Jimmy) Preston, Joel (Megan) Kirk, Joshua (Bonnie) Kirk, Meghan (Jason) Over, Daniel (Maggie) Schuh and Thomas Richard Schuh Jr.; and ten great-grandchildren Landon, Luke, Leah, Adelyn, Eden, Owen, Ellie, Elizabeth, Caroline and Davis. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Alice enjoyed a long successful career as a secretary from her first job in the St. Louis School Board to her last as a Navy civil servant. Alice was an avid reader, aspiring writer and collector of antiques and glasswork. Visitation will be held at 4 pm followed by a Memorial Service of her life at 5 pm, followed by Celebration/ Fellowship on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Dinsmore Baptist Church, 10500 Old Kings Rd Jacksonville, Florida. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name to Dinsmore Baptist Church, would be appreciated.
