Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Witt Darby, 94, will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018, from the graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Marcus McGill officiating. Born May 23, 1924 in Lake City, Florida to Aaron and Mary Witt, Mrs. Darby died Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Palatka, Florida. She was a graduate of Florida State College for Women, a retired Senior Claims Examiner from Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Florida, and a Charter member of San Jose Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Richard A. (Janet) Darby of Green Cove Springs, FL and Wayne J. (Shirley) Darby of Malabar, FL; 4 grandchildren, Shannon, Tricia, Christopher, and Ryan; 5 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
