It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Alice Francine Dampier Drawdy, who courageously battled cancer before peacefully passing away on January 21, 2024.Alice, the matriarch of her family, was married for 28 years to her devoted husband, George Drawdy. Alice leaves behind a vast legacy; a mother to 3 children; Janet Lewis (husband Chris Lewis), Kathy Allen, and James Thompson (wife Deborah Thompson); 5 grandchildren (Joshua Allen, Justin Allen, Krystal Tabah, Jesse Thompson, Shelby Crawley); 2 great grandchildren (Braxton Allen and Summer Tabah); 3 great grandchildren on the way (Kellan, River, and Magnolia); sisters, Audrey Wilson and Linda Bigley; brothers, Gary and Larry Dampier.As we celebrate her life, let us remember Alice for the kind, compassionate and loving person she was. and the incredible journey she undertook with grace, persistence, resilience, passion, and love for Christ.A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
