Mrs. Alice Mae McKinney age 100, of Starke passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. McKinney was born on July 27, 1913 in Pictures, New York to the late Ray and Mattie (Elsworth) Wheelock. Alice was raised a Methodist and moved to Starke in 1975 from Jacksonville. Prior to retirement she worked as a bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband George Washington McKinney and is survived by her close friend and caregiver Marty Anderson of Richmond Hill, GA.
