Alice was born on Dec. 2, 1928 in Azores, Portugal to the late Jose and Ana Maria (deMelo) Ferreira. Alice moved to Keystone Heights in 1999 from Ormond Beach, was a retired Quality Control Inspector for Norton Safety Products in Rhode Island, and was a member of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by her daughter: Anna Gordon of Keystone Heights, a son: Antonio Quaresma of Coventry, RI, and her grandchildren, Sara & Emily Quaresma, and Samantha Gordon. She is preceded in death by her two brothers. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
