Funeral services for Allen Ray Cooper, 62, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 10, 2017 in the chapel of George H. Hewell & Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main St., Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Rev. Bill Tyler officiating.Mr. Cooper was born in Marion, South Carolina on November 27, 1954 to Claude Cooper and Louise Johnson Cooper. A longtime Jacksonville resident, Mr. Cooper was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1972. He had, in the past, worked for C&C Powerlines and for Henkel & McCoy. He was also the owner of C&B Directional Drilling. Allen Ray Cooper passed away on Sunday May 7, 2017 at the home of his mother, with family at his side.Survivors include his mother, Louise Cooper Branson; brothers, Jim Cooper & David Cooper; sister, Carol Nash (Mark); children, Stacie Musgrove & Kevin Baxter; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews & extended family & friends.Arrangements under the direction of George H.
