Allen Howard George

Allen "Al" Howard George, age 77, died in Gainesville, Florida on Monday, April 30, 2018. Born April 12, 1941 in Miami, FL. Al was a member of Westside Baptist Church and actively involved in both missions and international ministry with his wife.He was a loving husband to Julie George and father to five children and grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers Carl and Robert George and their families.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 5th at Westside Baptist Church, Gainesville, Florida.Following the service there will be a time for receiving friends and family.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be donated to "Westside Foundation" in honor of Al for missions' scholarships.
