Allen Hiram Lakey Funeral services for Allen Hiram Lakey, 61, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 in the University Baptist Church, with Rev. Frank Ciresi officiating. Burial will follow, at 1:30P.M., in Jacksonville National Cemetery, with military honors. Born January 28, 1952 in Robbinsville, North Carolina, Mr. Lakey died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Jacksonville. Mr. Lakey served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict, was the retired owner and operator of Lakey Painting, Inc., and was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pamela Ann Hubler Lakey of Jacksonville; a daughter, Mrs. Helga (Todd) Calloway of Hickory, North Carolina; three sons, Scott (Katie) Lakey, Shawn Lakey, and Stone Lakey all of Jacksonville; and three grandchildren, Dylan Gahagan, Abigail Calloway and Sam Calloway. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H.
