Mrs. Alma Louise GillMrs. Alma Gill of Starke age 90, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at Windsor Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born in Starke, Florida and lived here all of her life. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents Silas and Emily Silcox of Kingsley Lake and her husband Prescott Gill. She was also a member of Starke Church of God for 70 years. Mrs. Gill is survived by her son George P. Gill, Jr. Buck and daughter-in-law Rose; sister: Margaret Simmons; three grandchildren: Patricia Lemire (Richard); Christina Ortega; Heidi Lee (Stan); six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; her church family and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Starke Church of God located at 2225 N. Temple Avenue on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Robert P. Johnson officiating. There will be a private burial at Santa Fe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Starke Church of God, 2225 N.
