Mrs. Alma Jean Tulino age 76, Lawtey, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at her residence. Alma was born in Bradford County on August 19, 1947 to the late Rowell and Wordna (Southerland) Prevatt and was a lifelong area resident. Prior to retirement she worked as a correctional officer sergeant for the Florida Department of Corrections. She enjoyed spending time with her family spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren and shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Tulino, siblings, Betty J. Prevatt and Phil Prevatt. Survivors are: children, Robin Cooper (David) of Lawtey, M.P. Carter (Sheila) of Starke, Nancy Griffis of Macclenny, Donna Valentine (James) of Jacksonville, brothers, Michael Southerland and Pat Southerland both of Union County. Also left are her grandchildren, Josh Redding (Katie), Joe Crews (Jessica), Robert Morgan, Racheal Morgan, James King (Cierra), Rylan King (Violet), Ashtyn Griffis, Philip Carter, Karen Jeffrey (Cody), Amber Padgett and great grandchildren, Carter J. Redding, Bentley Redding, Maddie Crews, Addie Crews, J.T. Crews, Junior Phillips, Ensleigh Webb, Emersyn King, Laikyn King, Levi Jeffrey, Remington Jeffrey, and Savannah Jeffrey. The family will receive friends at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with funeral services beginning at 2 oclock.
