Mr. Alpha Thomas Fraser age 85, of Melrose passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Lake Butler Hospital and Hand Surgery Center. Mr. Fraser was born on April 7, 1928 in Avon Park, FL to the late Roma Thomas and Eleanor (Branning) Fraser. Prior to retirement he was a Plant Manager for the Manufacturing Industry. He was a long time member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Melrose. He served them faithfully as an Elder and member of the choir. He also served his country in the United States Air Force. Preceding him in death was his wife of 62 years Willonell "Willie" (Barrows) Fraser. Survivors are, his Children: Andrew Fraser of Melrose, Patricia Fraser of Berkeley, CA, and Robert Fraser (Debra) of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Tommy Fraser, Alex Fraser, Kelly Fraser, Shannon Fraser, Carrie Pons, Andrew Fraser, Naomi Frigo, Seth Frigo, Angelina Kelly, and Kelly Remaley. Great grandchildren: Sydney Fraser, Shawn Fraser, Gracie Fraser and Dulciana Frigo. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Melrose.
