Amel Manati, just two years old, passed away on August 26, 2026, alongside his older brothers, Damiano and Gabriel, following a tragic house fire.
Amel was a sweet and happy little boy whose life was only beginning. He had recently started talking, bringing even more joy to his family as his little personality began to shine through.
At two years old, Amel's world was filled with the simple things that made him happiest: being with his family, playing, laughing, and following his older brothers wherever they went. He especially loved Spider-Man.
Amel shared a particularly special bond with his older brother Gerald, who was his very best friend. Amel always wanted to be by Gerald's side, following him around and enjoying whatever his big brother was doing. Their relationship was filled with the kind of pure love and admiration only brothers can share.
Amel is survived by his loving parents, Gentian and Albana Manati; his brothers, Gerald, age 9, and Bledar, two months old; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Though Amel was given far too little time in this world, he filled those two years with an immeasurable amount of love. His happy spirit, his sweetness, and the joy he brought to his family will remain a treasured part of their lives forever.
A visitation for Amel and his brothers will be held from 6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m., Thursday, September 3, 2026, at San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Rd., Jax. FL 32217.
Burial will take place on Friday. Cemetery and burial details will be published in the upcoming days as arrangements are finalized.
