Amy Marie Deas, age 53 of Gainesville, passed Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Haven Hospice following her strong battle with ALS. She was born November 8, 1971, in Tampa to Howard and Joyce (Hanson) Thomas. Amy enjoyed working as a CNA helping others and making friends. She and her husband enjoyed traveling over the United States as well out of the country experiencing new adventures together and making unforgettable memories. Amy also enjoyed working out, staying fit, and riding motorcycles, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Her father had preceded her in death. Amy leaves behind her husband Anthony Dunn and four daughters Megan Dunn, Bethany Dunn, Kelsey Deas, Jamie Deas, and her mother Joyce Deas. Also left behind are three siblings Howard Thomas (Matthew), Debbie Owlsey, Mark Deas, and three step siblings Leslie Rotarious, Keith Hanson, and Scott Hanson along with her precious frenchie pup, Mable. Amy was lovingly called "Nana" by grandchildren Hudson Deas, Raylee Deas, Harper Ray, and Lawton Ray. There are no scheduled services at this time.
