Amy Terese LaPlante passed away on April 11, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 58. Amy was born on June 14,1966 in Hartford, CT to Nancy Gravelle and David J. LaPlante, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of over 30 years, William M. Fultz; daughter, Samantha J. LaPlante-Fultz; siblings, David J. LaPlante, Jr. (Lisa), Julie A. LaPlante, Michael P. LaPlante (Rebecca); and several beloved nieces and nephews.Amy had a passion for family, friends and travel. She was a high school exchange student in the Philippines where she learned to appreciate warm hospitality, great food, and adventure. Amy graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a focus on political science and anthropology but considered herself a lifelong learner. Her decades long career in for-profit, non-profit and public service allowed her to work with many wonderful and dedicated colleagues and friends.Amy's life was significantly blessed by her extended family at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.In lieu of flowers, Amy requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity or perform a random act of kindness.A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2025 in St. John's Catholic Church, 2400 Mayport Rd, Mayport, FL 32233.
