Mrs. Angela "Angie" Michelle James age 53 of Starke passed away suddenly Monday, August 18, 2025, at HCA Hospital in Starke. She was born February 3, 1972, in Bitburg, Germany to William T. and Maureen (Gaughan) Stickel, Jr. Prior to becoming a fulltime homemaker, Angie worked as a loading manager for a trucking company for several years. She was raised in the Catholic Faith and enjoyed camping, fishing, being with her children and grandchildren. Those that knew Angie knew she was very family oriented, and family always came first. Angie's mother Maureen had preceded her in death 3 year ago. Her survivors are her husband of 31 years Richard E. James of Starke and their children Michael James of Hampton and Marshall James of Keystone Heights; her father William "Pop-pop" Thomas Stickel, Jr. of Starke and a brother William Brian Stickel of New York. She was lovingly called "NANA" by grandchildren Talan Hunter James, Brooklyn Jessie James, Dayton William James, and Maddison Kathleen Brown. Also left behind is a host of extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly. There are no scheduled services at this time.
