Aniceto Vasquez J.R., 58, left this world to meet our Heavenly Father on August 17, 2021, due to the COVID Virus.J.R. was born in Boynton Beach, Fl., to the proud parents of Aniceto Vasquez and Minerva (Maria) Vasquez, on November 29, 1962. At the early age of 15 he began his lifelong passion of working in the construction field. This passion is what brought him here to Jacksonville, where he found his place with JE Abercrombie Inc. as a Superintendent. J.R. was employed by JE Abercrombie for several years and J.R. felt they were his extended family. He was a man that knew how to live life. J.R. loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing or time at the mud hole, riding ATVs with friends, while watching jacked-up jeeps and trucks going through the mud. He also took pride in his vehicles and loved to spend time on them whether he was detailing, painting, or completely rebuilding them, as he did with his monster jeep. No matter what, he couldnt sit still. He always had to be doing something. It was hard to make him slow down, but when he did relax, it was to be with his family. This time was spent together at the beach, BBQs in the backyard or he was riding his Harley with his wife Michelle, or with his daughter Jordan. J.R. was always the life of the gathering. He never allowed our lives to be dull while he was around. He lived life to the fullest each and every day. Working, doing what he loved, and spending time with his family which was most precious to him. He is preceded in death by brother-in-law David Kick.He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, and best friend, Michelle Vasquez, their daughter Jordan and his two sons, Stephen Johnson and Justin Vasquez, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his pets, Harley, Max, Chloe, and Rocky.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 am in George H.
