Anita Lucille Thompson, age 85, of Windsor (Gainesville) FL. Died at Shand's at University of Florida Medical Center, on Monday, June 14, 2021. Anita was born on August 3, 1935, in Windsor, Illinois to the late Lucian Henry & Vera Dorthula (Scoles) Jones. Anita was a longtime resident of Windsor (Gainesville) FL, and a home maker. Anita is preceded in death by her parents, and son William Kent Thompson. She is lovingly survived by her husband, William W Thompson, son James A Thompson, daughter, Susan Pons, all of Windsor, FL. as well as by son, Stephen Lynn Thompson of Taylorville, IL.
