Anna M. AlfieriAnna M. Alfieri, 91 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the E.T. York Haven Hospice House. Anna was born on November 21, 1921 in Newark, NJ to Frank and Filomina Cirminello, both Italian Immigrants that came to through Ellis Island at the turn of the century.Anna was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, and for 23 years she proudly worked as a Nursery School Teacher and Child Care worker at Trinity United Methodist Church where she touched the lives of many children that have grown up to be some of Gainesville's most influential people. Anna also loved being a Grandmother and caring for her two beautiful Granddaughters, Megan Ann Miller and Morgan Paige Miller. She has been a long time member of Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville.Anna is predeceased by her husband Dr. Salvatore A. Alfieri, Jr., a Son Salvatore A. Alfieri, III. She is survived by her son Mark D. Alfieri of Gainesville, Daughter Gail E. Miller(Kraig) of Orlando and two Granddaughters Morgan Paige and Megan Ann Miller of Orlando.The family requests that expression of Sympathy be sent in Anna's memory to Holy Faith Catholic Church, 700 NW 39th Rd, Gainesville, FL 32607.
