Mrs. Anne Marie Flowers, age 89, of Jacksonville went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 5, 2025. She was a native of Harrells, NC and loved growing up in the country until marriage and moving to Florida in 1956. Anne Marie lived a life rich in love, family, church, and community, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.

She loved reading, gardening, playing the piano, and visiting with her church family as well as talking with everyone she met. She cherished the role of wife to Thomas Flowers, and their love story was an inspiring testament to partnership and devotion for over 69 years. The deep love for their children was evident in everything she did. She was a kind, loving, and thankful person. Her family and friends count her worthy of great honor and are thankful for the gift of her Christ like life.

Anne Marie is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Flowers; her daughter, Kathryn Cooley; her son, Andy Flowers; her daughter-in-law, Daphne Flowers; and her grandson, Caleb Cooley. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit in their hearts and will continue to honor her memory through their own lives.

A Celebration of Anne Marie's remarkable journey will take place Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Englewood Baptist Church located at 5675 Kennerly Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207, bringing together family and friends to remember her kindness, strength, and the bright light she brought into the world. Visitation begins at 11:00 AM; Service at 11:30; Lunch at 12:15. In honoring Anne Marie Flowers, let us celebrate a life well-lived—full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. May her spirit continue to inspire and guide us all.
