Mrs. Ann Marie McElgun, 84 of Keystone Heights died sat. August 1, 2009 at the Bradford Terrace Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. McElgun was born on March 31, 1925 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Casper and Mary (Gromeling) Kunkel. Prior to retirement and moving to Keystone Heights 29 years ago from Selden, NY Marie was the head cashier for the Dept. of Motor Vehicles in New York. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 202 in Keystone and of the Catholic Faith. Marie is survived by her Children: Kathleen Adams of Palatka, Barbara Mayfield and Kevin McElgun both of Keystone Heights, and John McElgun of East Islip, New York. She is also survived by her siblings: Joan Dito and Billy Kunkel both of New York; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services for Marie will be held at the graveside, 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
