Anne Kelly Tivnan

Anne Kelly Tivnan, age 58, of Gainesville, died on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at her home residence. Anne was born in Hartford Connecticut to John Tivnan and Elaine (Knapp) Tivnan, on August 17, 1961. Anne moved from Vermont to Dunedin, FL where she attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, then moved to Gainesville, FL in 1972. Anne did live in the Tampa area for several years before returning to Gainesville. In 1979, Anne graduated from Buchholz High School, then attended both Santa Fe and Hillsborough Community College. She worked as a medical assistant and secretary. Anne's interests included her deep love of all kinds of music and collecting records of that music, as well as her love of animals. She always had a cat as a pet and was a member of the ASPCA. Anne was preceded in death by her father, John Tivnan and grandparents. And by her sister, Maura Lee Tivnan Hoskins on April 23 rd , 2020. Anne is lovingly survived by her mother, Elaine Tivnan Smith of Gainesville, brother-in-law, John Hoskins of Tampa, FL, nephew, Jackson Hagen and niece Nicole Hagen of Belleview, Washington, aunt, Kathleen Tivnan of Troy, NY, aunt, Jeanne Bourdeau of Barefoot Bay, FL, and many cousins throughout the country.
