Anneliese Idella Channell
October 8, 1958 – September 23, 2025
With hearts full of love, the family of Anneliese Idella Channell shares her passing on September 23, 2025, at St. Vincent's Clay Hospital in Middleburg, Florida. Born October 8, 1958, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Herbert Max Veith and Rose Donna Colburn, Anneliese lived a life that was truly centered on family, faith, and the simple joys of home.
Anneliese was a devoted homemaker who poured her love into her home, her kitchen, and her garden. She was happiest when surrounded by her children and her fifteen grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. Whether she was cooking a family meal, tending to her flowers, or cheering on her beloved Alabama football team—Roll Tide!—she brought warmth and light into every moment.
For 51 wonderful years, Anneliese shared her life with her husband, Mr. Bobby Channell, Sr. The two first met in Tuscaloosa, where their story of love and devotion began. Together they built a beautiful family and created a home filled with laughter, guidance, and the kind of motherly presence that wrapped everyone in comfort.
Anneliese will forever be remembered as a loving wife, a dedicated mother, a proud grandmother, and a true Southern lady whose love and care touched every person she met. Her family will carry her memory in their hearts always, holding on to the sound of her laughter, the taste of her cooking, and the warmth of her embrace.
Services are entrusted to Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home, 340 E. Walker Drive, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
