Annette Elaine Feaster, age 92, of Micanopy, FL, passed away under Hospice care on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023. Annette was born in Milwaukee, WI, on Jun 9, 1931 to Colson C. and Eva L. Adams. She was married to Jacob L. "J.L" Feaster, Jr. on Oct 14, 1955. Annette was a Registered Nurse and worked at Alachua General Hospital in Gainesville, FL, as well as the Summer Camp Nurse for the kids and Counselors of the Youth Conservation Camp. She enjoyed gardening, singing and playing music, spending time with her dogs, assisting with school activities, and was a Band Mother. She was an enthusiastic Gator fan, and loved world traveling with J.L. She was also involved in the Korean War Veterans Association and Auxiliary for many years and thoroughly loved State & National Convention trips with J.L in his roles as a Chapter and National officer. Annette is survived by her husband, Jacob "J.L"; sons, Jacob L. Feaster, III and Joseph A. Feaster; daughters, Sally (Michael) Otero and Mary Yvonne (Mark) Engwall; 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Colson and Eva Adams, and her brother, Courtland S. Adams. Annette was passionate about the Nursing profession that she lovingly served for many years, as well as each and every nursing student she crossed paths with throughout her career.
