Mrs. Annette Norman, 82 of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Windsor Manor Nursing Home in Starke. Mrs. Norman was born in Fort Gaines, Georgia, June 15, 1931 to the late Emmett and Tamzy (Hasty) Gill, Sr. Prior to her retiring, Annette had ran the soda fountain in the local drug store in Keystone Heights since 1971. She was a member of Gadara Baptist Church, in which she was also very involved in; she enjoyed cross stitching, and was in the local T.O.P.S. Club, but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren. Mrs. Norman is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bob Norman; three sons, Dean Slocumb, his wife Pam, Dale Slocumb, his wife Alicia all of Keystone Heights and Harvey Slocumb, his wife Cindy of Senoia, Georgia; two stepdaughters, Angelia Gardner, her husband Dan of Oviedo and Kim Rand, her husband Phil of Ormond Beach. Also left behind is a brother, Earl Gill of Dawson, Georgia; a sister, Melba Sands of Dowling Park; and twelve grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 16, 2013 between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Funeral services are Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Gadara Baptist Church with her son, Pastor Dean Slocumb and Pastor Sean House officiating.
