Funeral services for Annie S. Hare Fagge, 88 of Jacksonville, FL, (known as Mommie to her children as well as numerous others, and known as Granny by all her grandchildren as well as others that considered her as their Granny), will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, Florida 34116 on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10AM with Dr. Jack Dinsbeer officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Winter Park Cemetery in Wilmington, North Carolina. Annie is survived by four daughters; Phyllis A. Carter of Wake Forest, NC, Leslie J. Barfield of Williamston, NC, Mary C. Hare of Jax, FL and Julia M. Behler of Jax, FL. Four sons; Robert W. Hare, Forrest H. Hare and Julius M. Fagge all of Jax, FL and John M. Hamilton of Fort Bragg, NC. A sister Mary Wanda Cavanaugh of Magnolia, NC. Twenty two Grandchildren, twenty Great Grandchildren and five Great- Great Grandchildren. Annie was preceded in death by a son James E. Hare and a daughter Charlene L. Hare. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the funeral home between the hours of 2-4PM.
