Annie Maude Knight

Funeral services for Annie Maude Knight, who passed away on August 11, 2015, will be held Friday at 2:30 PM in Highlands Baptist Church with Rev. Art Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mrs. Knight was born in Lakeland, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a member of Highlands Baptist Church, and active with the Ladies Prayer Group. She was also an active participant at the Lane Wiley Senior Center, and was an avid Canasta player. She retired from King Edward Cigar where she worked as a cigar roller. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Jack J. Knight, Sr.,and son, Jack J. Knight Jr.; Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Hewett (Bernie); 4 sons, Rick Knight (Janice), Roy Knight (Linda), Steven Knight and Stanley Rupp (Linda); Grandchildren, Melissa O'Hearn, David Hewitt, Chris Knight, Josh Knight (Jessica), Stacey Harbesson, Brandi Knight, Kimberly Knight, Sabrina Williams (Michael), Leah Frazier, Kelly Knuth (Brad), and Ryan Rupp; Great-grand-children, Aaron O'Hearn, Miles O'Hearn, Moira O'Hearn, Jackson and Joshlyn Knight, Jayden and Riley Harbeson, Corbin, Eden and Haven Knuth.
