Ansley Earl Evans

Ansley Earl Evans, 86, of Alachua, Florida passed away on November 23, 2020. Earl was born in Eastman, Georgia on December 20, 1933 to James and Mary Evans. Earl was married to Mary Evans.Earl served in the U. S. Army from 1953-1958 and the Army Reserves from 1958-1978, retiring as a Major.He graduated from the University Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1966. He received a Master of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Florida in 1971.Earl worked as an agriculture teacher and Future Farmers of America advisor for the Alachua and Marion county public schools.He is survived by his daughters, Libby (Wayne) Engstrom of Alachua, Florida, Sharon E. Nehring of Ocala, Florida, and Lisa Evans; and his son Avery "Sam" (Diane) Evans of Melrose, Florida.The graveside funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. at Newnansville Cemetery on November 27, 2020 with Pastor Tim Spivey officiating.
