Ardelia Starling Gossett

Mrs. Ardelia Starling Gossett age 96 of Starke, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019. Mrs. Ardelia was born on October 27, 1922 in Starke to the late Benjamin James Starling and Daisy Starling. Mrs. Gossett enjoyed cooking for her family, flowers, watching birds and squirrels, spending time with family, and was a faithful member of Air Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Delmer Lee Gossett; sisters, Thelma Moss, Vera Lee Nugent, and Eunice Gunter; brothers, Johnny Starling and Junior Starling. Survivors include her children, Edward (Donna-deceased) Gossett of Michigan, Janie (Larry) Macek of Michigan, and Shirley (Charles) Eubanks of Arkansas, and Barbara Wood of Lake City; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapels. A visitation hour will precede services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Crosby Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME OF STARKE 904-964-6200.
