Obituary

Arlene E. Blake, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, was born on June 16, 1935, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She peacefully passed away on April 15, 2026, in Fort White, Florida, where she had made her home in her later years. Arlene leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and warmth that will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Arlene poured her heart into her family, finding immense joy in the role of mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three sons, Roy, Mark , and Patrick Blake, along with her devoted daughter-in-law Roy's wife, Shelia Blake. Her vibrant spirit will continue to live on through her beloved grandchildren: Jessica Amwake, Jamie Wright, Roy Blake Jr (Josefina), Jennifer Blake, and Breanna Blake, each of whom carries a piece of her in their hearts. Arlene is also adored by her 14 great grand-children.

Arlene's passion for family gatherings and the stories she shared will be sorely missed, leaving fond memories that reflect her indomitable spirit and her ability to bring people together. Her kindness and gentle demeanor made her a beacon of light to all who encountered her.

As we remember Arlene, we will hold a gathering to celebrate her life. The funeral services will take place at a later date, and details will be shared with friends and family as we come together to honor her memory.

In this time of remembrance, let us cherish the lessons she imparted, the love she shared, and the joy she brought into our lives. Arlene E. Blake will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Arlene was preceded in death by parents Francis and Rose Pespisa.
