The family of Arlyne Little is sad to announce that she unexpectedly passed away in her home on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Born in St. Petersburg, FL on April 17, 1954, she lived in Gainesville most of her life. Arlyne was predeceased by her parents Sally Ballowe Little and George Walter Little, MD as well as her sister, Amy Louise Little. She is survived by her daughter Kaityn L Gemmell of Gainesville, son Michael David Gemmell of Montrose, Colorado as well as her sister Abby Little Barger of Idledale, Colorado and her stepmother Trudy Gies Little of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Best known for her caring nature, Arlyne had a long career as a nurse and caretaker in the Gainesville area. Burial services will be private but the family will be receiving condolences on August, 30, 2023 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Forest Meadows Funeral Home at 725 NW 23rd Avenue.
