Arnold Henry Kueker

Mr. Arnold Henry Kueker, 89, of Melrose passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka. He was born in Bensenville, Illinois on July 28, 1925 to the late Henry and Hulda (Grischow) Kueker, and has been a resident of Melrose for the past year moving from South Florida. Mr. Kueker had served in the United States Army and Air Force and prior to his retirement he was a cement finisher. He faithfully attended Melrose United Methodist Church and enjoyed growing Orchids, gardening, and woodworking. Mr. Kueker is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret (Thorson) and their three children, Sharron Guthrie (Mike), Susan Krecker (Tom) all of Melrose and Scott Kueker of Tamarac. Also left behind are his eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services for Mr. Kueker will be 11:00 a.m. , Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in the Melrose United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Melrose United Methodist Church, 5802 Centre Street, Melrose, FL 32666.
