Augustus J. Ruff Iii

Augustus J. "A.J." Ruff, III, went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2020. A.J. had an overall joy for life, and in his later years never passed up the opportunity to talk about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, or share some of his favorite things such as a good cup of coffee, a game of pinball, cheering for Florida State University (GO NOLES!), or worshiping with his Church "family" at Answers to Life Ministry.A.J. is survived by "his beautiful bride" Richelle Ruff and her father Steve Watson, his sister Julie Prickett, his nephew Kyle Redmond, his niece Amanda Ray, grand-nephews Aaron R. Ray and Rylan Ray, grand-niece DLainey Ray, as well as several cousins. A.J. was preceded in death by his father and mother, A. Julian "Pete" Ruff, Jr., and Sylvia P. Ruff, as well as a nephew, Aaron B. Ray. A.J. also leaves behind his pets; his dog Norm (make me a SAMMICH!), his dog Lilly, and his cat Phidough. A.J. also wanted to thank the following for everything that they meant to him during his life: Dr. Sumant Lamba, ARNP Sherita Bentley, Louis Joseph, Tim and Susan Tyler, Brett Younger, Sheltalee Torres, Jose Rivera, and Dottie Bartholomew.Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Friday, October 9th, from the graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Williams officiating.
