Funeral services for Balraj Kumar Mehta, 88, will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South with Pandit Sri Kadambi Srinathan Ji officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Born October 7, 1930 to Saraswati and Gokulchand Mehta in Jhang-Layalpur, West Punjab, India, Mr. Mehta died Friday, February 15, 2019 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida. He was retired as a Town Planner with the City of Jacksonville Area Planning Board. He is survived by his son, Amulya Mehta and his daughter-in-law Annapoorani of Jacksonville.
