Barbara June Bonigut

Barbara June Bonigut, November 15, 1930-May 24, 2016. She has earned her angel wings and has gone to be with our Lord. Our mother loved her family and spent many hours with us taking short trips to Charleston and Savannah. She also loved animals taking care of hundreds of stray cats and dogs through-out her life. She was born in Memphis, TN and moved to Jacksonville with her parents in 1946. First living in Riverside and then moving to the county, as she called it. She would marry in 1952 (64 years) to Peter Bonigut, deceased 2003. She is predeceased by her parents Hoyt and Mary Margaret Bell and two brothers Richard Bell and Louis Bell. Barbara has three children, Memorie (Joseph) Nolan, David (Diane) Bonigut and Mary Katherine Bonigut, deceased 2002. She has four grandchildren, Joseph Nolan Jr., Jhannell Nolan, Ryan Bonigut and Sarah Bonigut and one great-granddaughter, Kailey Jo Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 from the graveside in Oaklawn Cemetery, with Dr. Terry N. Collins of Southpoint Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements by George H.
