Barbara Duttinger

Barbara S. Duttinger, 89, of Melrose, Florida, passed away on September 26, 2025, at North Florida Hospital in Gainesville. She was born July 7, 1936, to Robert and Mary Schnee.

Barbara worked as a surgical nurse's assistant and was known for her caring heart and gentle nature. She was raised Baptist, rooted in faith, and she found joy in life's simple blessings like reading a good book and tending to her flowers with love.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James G. Duttinger, Sr. She leaves behind her son, James G. Duttinger, Jr., and his wife, Sissy, along with seven grandchildren who lovingly called her "Granny." Her family was her greatest treasure, and her love will live on in their hearts.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at Keystone City Cemetery. Barbara will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and the gentle joy she brought to all who knew her.
