Barbara B. Foti, 77, of Gainesville, FL passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, October 31, 2013 following a long-term illness with Alzheimer's Dementia.Mrs. Foti was born in Yonkers, NY and moved to Miami, FL in 1960. She worked at the University of Miami School of Law for almost 20 years prior to moving to Gainesville in 1998. She was a Sales Associate at Belk's prior to retirement. She attended Alz's Place, a model program for the memory impaired for the last 6 months until she became a resident of Williston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Mrs. Foti is survived by her daughter, Susan Ryschkewitsch, and son, Bill Foti, both of Gainesville, FL and 3 grandchildren, Katherine and Sarah Ryschkewitsch, and Jack Foti.Funeral services for Mrs. Foti will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Gainesville, FL on Saturday, November 9th at 10:00 am with Father Jeff McGowan officiating.
