Barbara Yvonne Harrison

Barbara Yvonne "Norton" Harrison, age 81 of Starke, passed away on July 6, 2015 at Windsor Health and Rehab. She was born in Jacksonville to the late Robert and Bertie "Gay" Norton on April 2, 1934. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in 1952. Mrs. Harrison was a Nanny for several children in Jacksonville, and retired from Ryder Truck Lines after 25 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by; two sisters, Hazel and Myrtle and herbrother, Roscoe Norton. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Richard) Sapp of Starke; one son, Rick (Paula) Harrison of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Keith Harrison, Lauren (Jeff) Stokes, and Kristen (Russ) Melendy; and eight great-grandchildren, Kate Melendy, Anna Melendy, Colby Harrison, Jacob Harrison, Austin Harrison, Taylor Harrison, Sydney Stokes, Addison Stokes, and Liam Stokes.
