Barbara Lou Irwin

Mrs. Barbara Lou "Barb" Irwin, age 79, of Keystone Heights passed away in Fleming Island on Monday, March 7, 2016. She was born in Lewistown, Illinois on July 5, 1936 to the late Charles and Mable (Davis) Taylor, and had moved to Keystone Heights in 2000. Mrs. Irwin was a homemaker and she enjoyed fishing, flowers, doing crafts but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Irwin and eight children; Susan Waltrip (Terre) of Orlando, Mary Heissler (Russell) of Jacksonville, Eddie Waltrip of New Smyrna Beach, Clint Waltrip of Jacksonville, Bobby Martin (Dave) of Peoria, IL, Todd Irwin (Mel) of Panama City Beach, Tim Irwin of Falls Rivers, VA and Joe Irwin (Stacy) of Goodyear, AZ. Also left behind are her four siblings, Carolyn, Carol and Jack all of Lewistown, IL and Susan of Forest City, IL along with eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family will be having a private Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity.
