Barbara Kay Kellar, age 67 of Green Cove Springs, passed away, Monday, November 25, 2013. She was born November 30, 1945 to Helen Penfield Phelps and the late, Delos Phelps in Monterey, California. Barbara worked as a cook for Moosehaven. She enjoyed birds, flowers, nature, games and puzzles. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and she loved watching them while having cookouts by the pond under the oak tree. Along with her father, Barbara was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Phelps and a grandson, Stephen Tibbales. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald Lewis Kellar, children, Randolph Randy Kellar and wife, Sherri of Iowa, Rebecca Becky Parsons and husband, Dallas of Ohio, Mildred Kelly Griffis and husband, Donald of Middleburg and Franklin Frank Kellar and wife, Gabriele of Green Cove Springs, her mother Helen Phelps of Ohio, a sister, Susan Drnek and husband, Raymond of Ohio, close extended family members, Meg Marrow and Ginger Shepard, 2 sister-in-laws, 4 brother-in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A time of viewing and fellowship with the family will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 from Noon until 2:00 PM at Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home. No other services are scheduled.
