Ms. Barbara Jean Krauszer age 63 of Florahome passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Roberts Care Center in Palatka. She was born July 25, 1960, in Rochester, New York to the late Robert O. and Patricia (Youngman) Simmons. Ms. Krauszer was a homemaker, plant nursery worker, and attended United Methodist Church in Florahome. She enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, going to yard sales, and collecting of Santa figurines, but most of all she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ms. Krauszers survivors are her children Scott Krauszer of Florahome, Jessica Krauszer of Melrose, Joseph Krauszer of Florahome, and Steven Krauszer of Interlachen; brother Robert Simmons Jr. (Michelle) of Rochester, New York and sister Lori Needham (Scott) of Bloomfield, New York along with her fianc John Barfield of Florahome. She was lovingly called "Mimi" by her grandchildren Kaylee, Ryan, Alyssa, Hunter, Ambrielle, Kholson, and Creed. The viewing for Ms. Krauszer will be held Friday, November 24, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Florahome United Methodist Church with Pastor Beth Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Paran Cemetery.
