Barbara (Bobbie) Jean Mixon, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday April 21, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL.Barbara was a Jacksonville native, born here on January 7, 1934 to Earl & Inez Peterson. Barbara was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Her family was her life and legacy. Barbara is preceded in death by her 2 daughters, Shavonna Lindsey and Ladonna Steele. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Wanda Staten (husband, Ken); her son, Randall Pitts (Wife, Kim) & her son-in-law, Raymond Steele.5 Grandchildren, Brad Pitts, Nakia Royal, Kevin Steele, Cassie Steele-Shaw and Jordan Hancock; 9 great grandchildren, Bryce, Carson, Brooke, Jacob, Kenadie, Kevin, Lilly, Lachlan and Kane.Services will be private.Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
