Mrs. Barbra Ann Snider age 68 of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at her home following an extended illness. She was born November 1, 1950, in Washington, DC to Robert C. and Martha (Billings) Hamblin. Mrs. Snider had been a longtime resident of Florida and prior to her retirement she was a pricing manager for CSX Railroad. Being and active member of Keystone United Methodist Church, Mrs. Snider loved helping with Vacation Bible School, Sunday school classes and many other areas in the church. She also had a passion for reading and had many types of historical interests. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snider was also preceded in death by her second husband William H. Newbern III. Her survivors are her loving and dedicated husband of six and a half years Walt Snider of Keystone Heights; three children Tammy L. Miller of Jacksonville, Bill E. Caudill III (Karen) of Baltimore, MD and Will H. Newbern IV (Leann) of Jacksonville along with two brothers Michael E. Hamblin of Forest Hill, MD and Edward Hamblin of Salisbury, MD. Also left behind is her mother in-law Betty Pinto of Melrose and her first husband William Caudill Jr. of Baltimore, MD, in addition to a host of extended family members and friends. She was also lovingly called "Grandmom" by her nine precious grandchildren Rachelle, Chester "CJ", Seth, Starr, Tyler, Krystin, David, Kimberly, Erin and "GiGi" by her great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2019, at Keystone United Methodist Church with Reverend Jeff Tate officiating. Her ashes will be interred at Hampton Cemetery in North Carolina. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Keystone United Methodist Church P.O. Box 744, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
