Barbara Ann Tisdale

Ms. Barbara Ann Tisdale age 69 of New York formerly of Gainesville passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019. She was born June 7, 1949, on Midway Island, South Pacific to David and Norma (Williams) Tisdale, Sr. Barbara graduated from Gainesville High School and moved to New York where she also graduated from the Fashion Institute of New York which led her to becoming a fashion designer. As a child she was raised in the Baptist church. She loved designing, living in New York and she loved her cats. In addition to her parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her brother David W. Tisdale Jr. Left behind is a brother Richard Tisdale of Melrose; a sister in-law Susan Tisdale of Orlando along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of friends that will miss her dearly. Graveside services for Barbara will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Forest Meadows Central Cemetery in Gainesville with Pastor Ethan Crowder officiating.
