Beatrice "Bea" Taylor Crews

Mrs. Beatrice "Bea" Crews age 83 of Starke passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Haven Hospice Custead Care Center in Orange Park. Mrs. Crews was born on July 5, 1936 in Southport, FL to the late Jesse A. and Laura (Newsome) Taylor and moved to Starke in 1994. Prior to retirement she worked for Johnson & Johnson and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Starke and enjoyed bird watching and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, M.L. "Junior" Crews, granddaughter, Jonnie Albritton, grandson, Jeffory Fuqua and several siblings. Survivors are: children, Avon Fuqua (Shirley) of Starke, Linda Thompson of Gainesville, Jesse Fuqua (Veronica) of Abbeville, AL, Laura Crews (James) of Starke, Eva Huff of Hudson, A. Ashley Fuqua (Joann) of Spring Hill, brother, A.J. Smith of Cochran, GA, grandchildren, Ronnie Melton, Bobby Hall (Theresa), Jason Fuqua (Heather), Matthew Crews (Jaime), Bonnie Thompson, Meghan Fuqua, Lana Fuqua, Vanessa Fuqua, and Cheyenne McKenzie. Also left are eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 2 oclock. Interment will be private at Long Branch Cemetery.
