Beatrice E. "Lani" Murphy

Mrs. Beatrice "Lani" Elaine Murphy 65, of Interlachen passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville from injuries she sustained in a motorcycle accident. She was born December 28, 1952 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Albert Eugene and Ruby (Pittman) Wright. Lani has been a resident of Interlachen since 2005, and retired from the Florida State Prison as a Dental Hygienist. She loved photography and in the past she was a photographer with Dixie Biker; Lani was also a former member of Keystone Jaycees and was an avid motorcycle rider. Lani was always happiest sharing the wind with her motorcycle family. Survivors are her daughter Kerri Glass (Ken) of Keystone Heights and four sisters, Javoni Martin of Casselberry, Debbie Meinert of Sanford, Lugene Buhls and Tami Harris both of Spring Hope, North Carolina Also left behind are her two precious granddaughters Ashlyn Wallace and Miranda Wallace along with a host of extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. July 21, 2018 at the home of Tommy Manning, 5493 CR 352 Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
